Well I’m a little slow on the uptake for a post today because I want to do a giveaway (that is where my mind has been) but I haven’t yet received the articles in question to take pictures and woo you with them.
So in the meantime, I will leave you with a few photos of the children’s “spectacle” (pronounced speck-tah-kl) That means “piece of theatre” in French and is probably where the word “spectacular” comes from.
We have the perfect stage, though it’s a bit bleak.
And here comes our first Thespian from back stage.
Oh! They are fighting over an umbrella.
He’s dead. (His tongue is hanging out).
Petit Prince is watching (and chewing his coat) with interest.
With his shoes on backwards again.
Oh! Hi Young Knight – is that you? You’re cute.
“Take a picture of the whites of my eyes. The whites!”
Veeeery cute. Young Lady is searching for her lines.
Oh there’s more? Okay. Wonderful. I’m so excited.
So you’re fighting over the umbrellas again.
Aw that’s nice, Young Knight, to hand yours over to Young Lady.
No question who’s in control here. That’s it? The bow?
Petit Prince wants his turn now. Of course.
What else is there to do but run around in circles?
Well kids that was just spectacul … wait, is that snot in your nose?
Oh. Never mind.

All the world’s a stage or at least a small section of your yard. AWESOME.
