Ingredients
  • 3 lbs potatoes
  • 200g bacon
  • 1 large onion
  • ½ T olive oil
  • 6 heaping T sour cream
  • ½ c white wine
  • Reblochon cheese (or brie)
Instructions
  1. Peel and boil the potatoes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)
  3. Fry the onions in olive oil.
  4. Fry the bacon.
  5. Mix the bacon and onions and add 3T of sour cream.
  6. Butter and "garlic" the 9x13 baking dish.
  7. Slice the potatoes and layer half on the dish.
  8. Layer half of the cream-bacon-onion mix.
  9. Do the same with the rest of the ingredients.
  10. Add a couple more spoons of sour cream and add the wine on top.
  11. Slice the cheese with the crusts showing, and place on top.
  12. Bake for 40 minutes.
