Yesterday we decided it was time for a trim.
Young Lady just needed to be able to see out of her bangs (fringe, if you’re English and don’t know what bangs are).
Ah, that’s it brave girl.
That accomplished, we decided to go for the bigger project.
There was a bit more trepidation in this subject.
Okay, the mohawk was perhaps a little cruel on my part.
« You’s naughty maman! »
How I love this boy.
Drunk with success, we decided to tackle our biggest project of all.
He did not enjoy it.
In fact, he heartily protested.
Why? Whhhhhhhy?
There. Finished now, baby.
Oh what the heck.
As long as we’re at it.
Sir and I accomplished all this trimming with a little help from our gardener friend Olivier.
And shear will.
Oh my gosh, your kids are so cute! The older boy is so expressive; I just love that series of photos!
You are a brave mama! All your children are beautiful, but oh your baby, so so sweet. I pay $20 to get each kid’s haircut. Ridiculous I know, but they get to sit in Lightning McQueen while it happens, get suckers and stickers afterwards, and there’s no danger of mom drawing blood or losing her cool.
Fabulous photos! I tried trimming bangs and ends for a while… but sooooo hard to get it straight! I have now fully surrendered to the professionals! Good for you on all your trimming success!
Oh, how I remember those days….I had 3 marvelous boys! Enjoy as the days go by sooo fast! Maybe I can cut my grand-daughter’s hair?!
I truly was entertained by this post and reminded of how funny & lovable you are.
ADORABLE! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Loved every minute of that.
I love the mohawk pics! My boys would think that was cool!
Geez Louise! That was a lot of work, mom! Come to think of it, I’m needing to take a weedwhacker to my “fringe” too! ;}
m ^..^
You are to be commended for cutting hair amidst all the protests and tears! I remember those days well….
Love the haircut pictures!!
I absolutely love these photos … the face on Little Prince had me laughing so hard – so so adorable!
Was that a pear tree?
The expressions on the kids’ faces reminded me of Sweeny Todd. Actually that’s how you used to react when I washed you hair when you were little.
