A year ago, I wrote one of my very first posts about Petit Prince’s first birthday. He was called Peanut back then on my other blog, and you can read the story here if you weren’t around in the early days.
Last weekend my baby celebrated turning two!
There was candy, of course
that let everyone be two again.
(We had to have a tétine-cutting ceremony when this one was three, to wean her off the pacifier. I think she’s re-living the glory days).
There were also some healthier options for the better mothers than I.
There were only two twin girls and Young Lady amongst a sea of « men » (eight boys),
which meant there was wrestling.
There were balloon tosses,
and guessing games.
There was cake
and presents.
Kids played apart
and together
and into the night.
But I think the best highlight of all was this.
Although truth be told, it’s not the first time he was charmed.
Happy Birthday my Petit Prince!

And now, I have to get back to work and visit later. See, this is the problem, amazing distractions like this.

Jennie, I enjoyed reading your Blog very much. The pictures of your “Petit Prince’s” birthday are so precious. I especially enjoyed seeing pictures of my handsome nephew, Benjamin and my sweet little neice, Ava. The pictures of William and Ava are so adorable and speak to the innocense of children. Thanks for sharing!
