Missing Paris are you? Missing things like …
The Arc de Triomphe?
The view down the Avenue des Champs Elysées.
The bustling avenues.
The heaters on the patios.
The elegant shops decorated for Christmas.
And more elegant shops.
The crystal staircases.
The intimate brasseries that serve steak and matchstick fries.
The cool french women. (This is my sister-in-law modeling one of the hats created by my brother-in-law).
You don’t miss Paris if you’re someplace nice and warm.
I forgot my gloves too.
Brrrrr! The last time I was in Paris was Christmas 2008, and it was deliciously cold … I enjoyed most of it from the inside of a little cafe with a mug of chocolat chaud and a yummy crepe Nutella! =>
Isn’t the hot chocolate here something else? Especially in the Salon de Thé.
Oh, how I wish to go to Paris someday. Now go get yourself some boots and gloves 🙂
(chuckle!)
I need to visit there, which has now been upped by 100x after reading this post. What a beautiful way to capture the essence of the city.
Yes, do come. These pictures don’t do it justice. It was grey and sleeting yesterday so that was the best I could get.
Fab photos and I miss Paris!
Like Oprah does her favorite things. Can you tell us about your favorite brassseries, parks, place for hot chocolate (Salon de The?), favorite stores, favorite view point, favorite bookstore, etc.? I know, you have all the time in the world, right?! :o>
I will! I will! But not in time for your visit. 🙂
Lovely blog!
Yours is great too. Your passion for photography definitely comes through in the pictures!
Can I tell you how absolutely thrilled I am to have met you in blogland? And how every time I come for a visit, it fills this little void I have in my heart of my dream to some day visit France. Thank you for sharing these things that I’ve only dreamed about . . .
Oh I do hope you come!
