Little Missy has lots of homework.
(No, I have not changed Young Lady’s name. But sometimes I call her Missy when she’s naughty. Or when I’m teasing her. Or both).
This tattooed girl eats way too much chewing gum.
She’s enthralled by the prospect of homework – can’t you see?
Right. Let’s attack this.
Reach into the bag and get the stuff out.
I have to speak French Maman – the homework’s in French!
A glance over at my lucky brothers who get to watch Chasseurs des Dragons (the Dragon Hunters) while I’m stuck here. At the table.
Okay, so I’m a clown. At least I keep my sense of humor under mental duress.
When will it eeeend?
Ah. The happy reward –
I can watch tv about the dragons.
With the dragons.

My oldest only has a once-a-month homework packet and even getting through that feels tough. I am wary of the homework in our future! I’ll be sure to remember to use dragons as a reward …

These are such adorable photos. My daughter is graduating from high school next month… oh, the homework memories. I loved it when she reached a point where she said “Don’t worry about my homework- it’s my deal, not yours.” Blissful!

Ug. Homework. Sometimes it seems like she’s battling dragons not writing sentences.

Ohhh, I’m glad those days are over at my house. I do envy your daughter knowing French already. Seeing those lessons kind of gave me a chill. 🙂

The best thing she can learn is to keep her sense of humor under mental duress, right?
That and where to place tattoos for maximum cuteness.
Love it. So sweet…

It’s tough being the oldest. But I love the grammar lessons and the writing paper. And I would like to “recu des chocolats,” too! =>

Your daughter is so cute!
I am currently taking a couple classes at a local JC, and there are nights where I still feel like this about homework. 🙂
