I loved eating dinner at a Greek restaurant with World Moms Blog founder and contributers. Thanks Jen!
I loved having my President address our assembly via satellite. I love what he stands for and I hope he wins again – hope, hope, hope.
I loved meeting Anna from An Inch of Gray – most of you will know that she lost her 12-year old son Jack last year in a flash flood in the DC area. When I first hugged her, I had to fight back tears. And I loved meeting Kate through Anna from The Big Piece of Cake. I feel like I’ve made good friends.

Terrible picture of me with my flat airplane hair, but it was the least blurry. And Anna looks great, of course, albeit - still blurry.
I loved spending extra time (not enough time) talking with Alex and Tracey, and regret missing out on some others.
I loved my funny and kind roommates: Alexandra, Jenni and Shannon.
I loved the Listen to your Mother event that Ann Imig organized.
Isn’t she classy? This is my favorite funny post of hers.
I loved seeing one of my best friends Shari bring down the house for Voice of the Year in the Humor Category.
If you want to laugh, you can find her winning post here.
And I loved coming home to fresh air and fruit trees, and a wildly emotional welcome from the kids,
to a house utterly destroyed (and if you can believe it, my husband marveled that I was only able to clean two of the rooms while he was at work – cough, cough)
and to this sign from Young Lady to her father
which says, “For Daddy – Thank you for making dinner Daddy. You were so nice. I love you with all my heart. Big kisses”
and which means … I think it’s safe to go away again to BlogHer next year.
YAY, girl! I’m so, so very over the moon HAPPY for you that you had a wonderful time!
Your highlights looks lovely!
{Next year in Chicago, yes?!
xo
Will you go then Galit? I would love to meet you! Of course, I need to somehow finagle it myself. 😉
Oh girl – I loved hugging on you. I love you so much. Next time we need an extra day just to hang out and really talk! Also we need to hug even more. Also I want to come live with you and bring my children because that’s totally okay, right? xoxo
Come on! Our house is 1000 sq feet – we totally have room. 🙂
You are even more delightful in real life, if that’s possible.
So glad you had a good time, and just a smidgen jealous you got to meet and hug all those wonderful people. 🙂
Alison … this is me giving you hypnosis. You must come next year. Your baby will be old enough. Your husband needs the practice of going solo.
Seriously yes? Chicago next year? I would love to hug you 🙂
I am counting on that – it was a big loss not to have you there this year.
Jenni, so glad you enjoyed your trip and were able to connect with so many special people. You look beautiful, as always! Love reading your posts. Keep up the great work!
Lauren – thank you for your sweetness and all your comments.
Oh, my friend . . . I LOVE LOVE LOVE this post! And I love the photo of you and dear Anna! (I didn’t even know that was you at first – I LOVE YOUR HAIR! You look beautiful!) And if you are coming to Chicago for the next one, I WILL BE THERE! SO exciting! 🙂
Really? I am going to try my darndest to go. You will be a must-meet.
Just loved meeting you. Wish we had more time to talk–alas my BlogHer tagline.
Thanks for your kind words.
I know – even I feel like that and I was not highly sought after. Your photos do not do you justice. 🙂
I may track you down in late Sept when – if all goes well oh please, oh please – I will be in Paris. You know you want me to come sleep between you and your husband and fondle you both with my toes. xo
My husband and I had a big laugh over that one, and then said – maybe she’ll settle for dinner. 😉
Booking you now for the Chicago Blogher, fine lady.
BOOM.
I MISS you and this picture of you has me sighing and misty eyed.
THANK YOU for saving my professional butt with emails and tweets sent on my behalf. I wouldn’t have been able to do a thing without you.
God is good to me. xo
Well that would be just my honor. You know I love you just as much right? Big fan right here.
Hi Jennie,
It was so great to meet you during BlogHer. Thank you for the Paris tips and I’ll be contacting you again soon, before my trip this Fall. 🙂

Glad you enjoyed being bathed in honey apricot goodness. Maybe you can appease Chandy with some.
Glad you had a good time.
My rusty old french served me well, I could read it before scrolling down to the translation.
Will have to check the links. You must have had my dream come true. Some of those are my all time faves. And you were there, too.
Next year you’ll have to come! And bravo you for the French.

Next year! Yay. I would so love to meet you and hug you and not get enough time to talk to you, BlogHer style.
Hi Jennie. So nice to meet you at lunch that day with Tracy and friends! Your highlights post might be my favorite so far…so short and sweet, and your photos are awesome.
So happy for you that you had a wonderful time and made some memories. There is truly nothing like meeting an old friend for the first time! Perhaps next year in Chicago our paths will cross:)
