Are you all in a flutter to learn who won the box of chocolates (or glazed chestnuts)?
Take a look here at the faithful friends who have commented on my wedding blooper photos (and truly made me laugh with your hilarious comments). Do you notice anything particular about your names?
Every single one has a silly little picture that I drew that represents one thing I know/ like about you – can you figure out your icon? Can you figure out any of the other icons?
The only one that I didn’t know previously was Kate (and Anna, but Anna had a blog I could peek at and get a hint), so you got a little heart, Kate.
Names go in the stocking.
Taking my trusty Young Knight along as Santa’s helper
(I think it’s his turn in the giveaway drawings)
oh dear . . . it’s a very dirty hand.
Congratulations Kate! Could you send me an e-mail with your details and your preference for chocolates versus chestnuts?
In other news, the dishes take on an interesting hue during the holidays. I’ve been decorating Christmas cookies with my English classes (and am beginning to hate it – I have 5 classes).
Oh wait. Did I just say something so humbug?
And – do you think there’s anyone else harboring Great Expectations?
Awe!!! I missed your give-away!! Oh, bah-humbug, for certain! 😉 LOVE the drawings that you put on everyone’s card. I think I am most jealous that I couldn’t see what drawing you would have put on my card . . . What would it have been? 😉 wishing you a wonderful day, dear!!
Why, I would have put a paintbrush, of course! While I could have put a paintbrush for the walls of your house, I would more likely put an artist’s paintbrush, to represent your artist’s spirit. 🙂
YAY!!! That makes my heart soooo happy!!!! 🙂
Love your style, Jennie!! So cute that you made little personal picture notes along with all the names.
And yes, I’d say that’s a lot of presents he’s expecting! lol
Jen:)
Thanks Jen! Let us hope the little guy won’t be disappointed. 😉
I love the little pictures with the names! And I love that you drew cake on mine. Hee!
Oh, you recognized it! Phew. I thought it was the most ill-drawn piece of cake around. 🙂
Merry Christmas to you and your family! Sounds like you need a dishwasher helper for those frosted spoons.
Hi Caren, it’s so good to hear from you. Yes, a dishwasher that won’t make more of a mess than is already there! 😉
Awww, so sweet! That is a little camera next to my name, right? Love it!
Your son’s drawing made me chuckle.
P.S. Hope you’re submitting your book to other publishers. I look forward to reading it one day.
It IS a little camera! 🙂
And, I’ll tell you about my book next week. Hugs!
Aw, congrats to Kate. Love my coffee cup. xoxo
Thank you for the characters as my picture – it’s cool you can write characters! My Chinese reading isn’t great (study but not enough!) and I had to check two of the characters and I looked up the saying! It’s a good one, thank you! : )
No I cheated. I have a necklace with those characters, but I never learned to read or write. Except the character for person and big – as easy as it goes.
Your characters look good for someone who didn’t learn to read/write them! I hope that you and your family are blessed over Christmas.
Thank you Anna!
You have the most beautiful handwriting! My scrawl looks like a child’s scratchings.
Good luck to Young Knight to be able to carry all those presents. Does Santa come down the chimney in France?
I’m looking forward to hearing more about your book. 🙂
Santa does come down through the chimney in France, but he’ll have to be awfully skinny to get down ours! 😉 I’ll tell you about the book next week. And thanks for asking.
Not only do you have the best giveaways, but the most creative way of drawing winners!! Thanks for making even losing so much fun! xo
