Finally – I have something tangible to offer those bloggers who were unable to make it to the conference.
I attended a session sponsored by Johnson & Johnson on the State of World Mothers, and there was a call for posts concerning this theme. If you are interested in this, you can submit your story to globalmotherhood@huffingtonpost.com.
Some of you who have read me for awhile will know the story I wrote about an orphan named Moguay. The rest of you can read my story at the Huffington Post here.
Finally, the link to the Edna Adan Maternity Hospital in Somaliland did not appear in the article, so I am including it here (just click on the words Edna Adan) if you would like to make a donation. You can give through PayPal or by sending checks to the Friends of Edna Adan located in MN – address on the website.
Edna is doing amazing work over there, and I can attest first-hand just how much of a difference donations make.

I hadn’t read that before Jennie. Beautiful.

Oh, Jennie: such WONDERFUL work because every child is a child: with a child’s yearning for love and care.
No matter what we think/or decide: a child knows no different, he only knows that he CRAVES love from someone.
Thank you, Jennie. Off to read now.
