There is only one reason to put up with snow.
Kids. (And Kids-at-Heart).
And dogs.
Hunter is a hunting dog – an epagneul breton.
As an adult he will need to run 3 hours a day.
He will be disappointed.
My friend Claudia said he was gangly.
It’s true, he’s a teen. He tried to hump the bag of fertilizer I was holding.
But gangly? No, he’s not gangly.
Okay maybe a little bit.
But he loves to run
and run
and run in the snowy fields.
And he’s so gorgeous,
so majestic,
Except when he’s not.
(These grey pictures were taken at noon. No wonder I’m depressed).
Hunter is beautiful, and energetic, and LEAN (not gangly!)
so funny, you say gray & depressing, and here I was thinking that it looked awfully pretty, in a wintery sort of way. The landscape, that is – not entirely crazy about the dog. My fault, not his. But running, three hours a day? Sheesh. That’s what happens when you’ve got a brain the size of a walnut.
He is gorgeous!
The fertilizer bag issue made me snort my coffee 🙂
We got snow too! My dog loves it. He jumps around like a rabbit out there.
How attractive is this bag of fertilizer again? 🙂
He is very handsome (when he’s not humping fertilizer).
Every single comment from you guys is making me laugh.
I am embarrassed to say that the humping line got me to scroll to the picture a little faster than the others. 🙂
Ha ha haaaaaaaa Laughing so hard 🙂
At least a bag of fertilizer won’t show up with a litter that needs food and education. Hes SO sweet. Clearly in his element running full speed through the snow. Un chien mervielleux (?). Working on 2 semesters of French in 1992. 🙂
Bravo Kristen – you nailed it.
How is it that Hunter is even cuter now? Love these pictures, but have to agree with you, enough with the grey. It is dark and gloomy here too!
