After my poop cake fiasco of late, I used a decorating tip with teeth for my two English classes today in celebration of Valentine’s Day (and two weeks holiday for me).
I’ve been redeemed!
(Well not really redeemed. I forgot to buy dark chocolate that was at least 70% and used ordinary dessert chocolate that’s only 50%, so the buttercream is too sweet. Oh, and my second-rate decorating bag burst at the seams providing little spirals of frosting to decorate the tablecloth and my hands as I was decorating the cakes. But you don’t need to know about all that).
This is a Wordless Wednesday Post, by the way. How to link up? Where to link up? ย Mrs. Mayhem, heeeelp!
drooling.
i love to bake, but i can’t bake/decorate pretty things.
๐
These look gorgeous! I’m like Erin up there, I love to bake, but I’m really not so talented at the whole decorating thing, haha!
By the way, the way I found you via SITS was because you had commented on someone’s SITS day and I found you through your comment. I liked your blog name and picture and once I stopped by your blog, I knew I’d enjoy reading more. ๐
These cupcakes look delicious. I keep watching cupcake shows on TV hoping one day I will be able to make delicious homemade cupcakes but it hasn’t helped yet.
I love to bake & decorate the only downside is that when I do it I’m stuck with all those tasty sweets! This is bad because I love to eat them & they tend to cause a widening of the rear area!
I think I intentionally make my cupcakes look bad so I have a good reason to eat them all myself instead of sharing them at whatever occasion I was making them for. Is there a term for that? Baking sabotage??
PS: Yours look scrumptious!!
The worse the better, more for me to eat.
I love it when our pastry chef at work makes a mistake. I JUST LOVE IT.
You treats look gorgeous. You would be a welcome addition to any American garden club. They love stuff like that.
Yes please!!
