CHAPTER EIGHT
Camille was sitting in the kitchen, eating the steak and French fries that the cook had set out for him. The staff made themselves scarce when he was home for lunch because they knew they would not be able to get him to say two words. Paltier had the most luck of anyone in getting him to talk, but even he wasn’t very successful. If his mother had been alive, Paltier often thought, things would have been different.

Camille. He needs to tell me what trouble he’s planning to get into next so I have something to write about. 😉 This week I am sucked dry on every front. I think I’ll only manage the book review I promised on Friday, and then hope to get back on track next week.
