We are vacationing in Brittany right now, as we have gotten into the habit of doing for the past eight years.
If you count the grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and us, we are feeding twenty people at each meal. I’ve been recording the food because I thought it would be fun for you to know what the French ate in ordinary settings. (With twenty people). So for the next two Mondays, I will provide you with a ready-made menu, should you wish to eat like the French. (Or eat en masse).
As such, we are spending some time at the grocery store.
And we are spending time as a family, wrestling with cousins
playing with the uncles
and staying up way later than we should.
This makes
for three
very happy kids.
As for me, I’m not often online because there is such limited Internet connection, but perhaps that is just as it should be. However … I did a podcast with Sarah right here. In case you don’t know what a podcast is (like I didn’t for the longest time because I am slow) it’s just an audio interview, which you can listen to right on your computer by clicking play. We’re talking about overcoming perfectionism.
Stop laughing!
I mean it! 🙂
No, okay you can laugh. No one who has seen my housecleaning would ever accuse me of being a perfectionist, but the trait does slip in there in other ways.
I hope to see you there. And I hope you’re having a peaceful (relative, when you have kids) and happy summer.

So beautiful – enjoy! My kids just stayed up way later than they should have this past 4th of July weekend with cousins for three nights in a row. Oh, boy!

Love those pictures! And staying up way later than you’re supposed to is what summer is all about, oui?

Hi Lia! (waving) How’s the munchkin? I don’t know if you’ve updated your blog, but I haven’t looked at my blog reader in months and months. I just got overwhelmed. Yeah, Brittany is always really fun.

Hi Jennie– she’s getting so big and learning new things (to delight and test us) every day. I think the last blog post I wrote was in March… :(, and I haven’t kept up with anyone else’s blogs either, just happened to have a chance to read yours the other day.
