Guys. You’ll never guess. I’m being syndicated on BlogHer.
Today!
Of all my great moments from the past year and a half of blogging, I think the very best moment has arrived today when my post Who Cut the Cheese? is appearing on BlogHer.
(Did I handle those verb tenses correctly? My ESL classes are moving beyond shapes and colors and it’s making me all befuddled. In a subjunctive sort of way).
As if that weren’t enough, I’ve been nominated by … (drum roll please) my very own self for two – that’s two Blogher Voice of the Year awards.
Do you still love me in spite of my mad quest for fame and glory? I heard that you could nominate yourself and I thought, « I too have a dream! »
So I (ahem) nominated myself for Thousand Miles, depicting the imagery of Asia and my brother’s death.
And then Ladurée Macarons, because who doesn’t love macarons?
(And yes, I voted too, but it was for another lovely blogger and not for myself).
I’m already so happy that you have clicked on this blog
and will be happy if you click on BlogHer to comment on (or throw some sparkle on) my Who Cut the Cheese? post.
I don’t dare hope that you will click one or two more times, but if you’re inspired (by pity), or if you’re in a clicking kind of mood, or if you want to blow up my oversized head just for the pure pleasure of seeing when it will pop, you could also click here
or here.
Thank you. You’re my favorite friend.
(That’s what Young Knight says to each person that invites him to his or her birthday party).

Jane, thank you for your English help (I’ve bought a book and now it’s time to sit down and stop being lazy if I’m going to teach it).
And thank you for your encouragement – it made my day.

Congrats! How does this syndication dream come true happen?? I’ve seen two of my faves hit the BlogHer waves today!
ladyjennie says
Ooh ooh – I can help you with this one. Click here and you can submit your posts. I had to submit a couple before one was chosen so don’t give up. I also saw a tweet to nominate my own work for Blogher Voice of the Year. It’s closed for this year, but that’s something you can do next year as well. It’s good to put yourself out there.
Mom Went Crazy says
Congratulations!! I can’t wait to go over and read it.

I really want to be his favorite friend.
(and also, I’m on my way over to BlogHer to sparkle you up and vote. I still don’t know what sparkling is, but it sounds fancy. so I do it.)
Natalie says
Congrats! I’ll hop over there and sparkle you now 🙂
Ms. Pearl says

Exciting! Congratulations. Does that mean you might make the trip (I know, it’s awfully far for you)? I would be so much fun to meet you.
ladyjennie says
Aw – thanks for visiting! 🙂 I would love to come. Can anyone sponsor me?
Seriously we only have the budget for a US trip once every two years so it would take a financial miracle. I’d love to meet you too.
Maybe one day it will be in Paris.

I loved the article. You can always see your humor come through. What a way to wrap it up with the title. Glad you decided to give a cheeses choice and cutting etiquette. I would have totally spread the cheese like your brother, especially with brie that is so smooth, like peanut butter! lol
